Description: Greatbatch Medical is seeking a Production Supervisor for our 2ndshift. The major goal of this position is to meet production, safety, scrap, and delivery targets by leading non-exempt team associates in product lines on the production floor. The most essential work activities within this job are scheduling, prioritizing and assigning work; identifying and participating in improvement activities; mentoring and training direct reports. This position interacts internally with multiple levels from non-exempt team members through Director level, including Quality, Engineering, and Human Resources. Candidate will be required to communicate daily with support staff as well as present status updates to the Plant Leadership Team.
Qualifications: (education & experience) · Education: Four-year degree in technical or business related discipline. · Experience:3-5 years manufacturing experience with progressive responsibilities and leadership experience. · Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job: Experience in management of production schedules, reading technical documents and blueprints preferred. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Quality systems preferred. · Special Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize work for multiple lines, Good organization and listening skills are essential. Creative solutions and ability to execute.
